Dating Update

The older I get the better I was. That's my basic update on my dating experience so far. I'm pretty sure I may be getting too old for the online dating gig. It's really quite a sad state of affairs (pardon the pun).

My daughter tried to make me feel better at dinner tonight. She said "Dad, you're not too old, you're 46 and still active. You act like you're only 30 (she paused for a moment) that's a compliment." HA!

I did have a date on Saturday night that was fun. We went to listen to the blues at one of my favorite live music venues. So that was a good experience.

Then on Sunday I had to suffer through meeting someone for coffee. That is my least favorite part of online dating. You know when you see someone in person for the first time and you want to just turn around and walk out. Absolutely painful!!!

Maybe in April I will skip the online process and try meeting women in person. At least then I can see a real live 3-D person before approaching them. Of course I will also have to get used to the live 3-D rejection. But that could make for more entertaining blog entries.

Stay Tuned...

I know just how you feel! I haven't had any luck with online dating. I think I should buy more groceries, just maybe I will meet someone in aisle 2! :)

That is actually very encouraging for me to know that there are attractive single women like yourself looking to meet men in aisle 2 of the grocery store. :-)

Aisle 2 isn't working out so well in my city; not even Aisle 2 of Whole Foods! Where do you live??? ;-)
In all seriousness, I like your blog a lot. Just found it...I'll bookmark you.

Hello I am Janeen,

I'm a Whole Foods shopper myself. Maybe we all need to join a club and print t-shirts. Single shoppers of America unite! :-)

Good Morning I am Janeen,

Let's see...so far this month I flew to Denver for the Rockies home opener, it's golf season and I have been on the golf course five or six times, tonight is poker night. Hmmm...No wonder I'm still single. :-)
